Starbucks: it’s red again.

I got my first red cup of the season at Starbucks today, and, ooh, I was excited. This is the earliest I’ve seen one; I think they usually try to hold off until after Halloween. Although Starbucks is a huge, faceless, capitalist corporation, they sure do Christmas right.

It’s not just the drinks, either, although you won’t see me turn down an eggnog latte. They have beautiful decorations, interesting products and just an overall sense of the specialness of the season.

Christmas Card Idea: Moo

Moo is a printing company based in London which will make lovely products (cards, business cards) from your photos on Flickr or Facebook or Bebo. They also offer their own designs. For the upcoming season, they’ve got Christmas & Holiday Cards in addition to their regular lineup.

Since every card in your pack can be different, you can send personalized greetings to your friends and family. As a bonus, MOO is making a donation for each pack sold to WSPA – World Society for the Protection of Animals.

I was already thinking of making my Christmas cards with MOO, so this is a bonus!

Ornament Napkin Ring Placecard Holders

Ornament Napkin Ring Holders

I am loving these Ornament Napkin Ring Placecard Holders from Crate and Barrel. Glass ornaments double as napkin rings and place card holders with a wire card holder at the top.

They’re perfect for your special holiday dinner or would make a great hostess gift as well.

And with four of them for $9.95, they won’t break the bank.
